Women in the Philippines are at the centre of a climate catastrophe and urgently need our support.

The effects of climate change have increased the frequency and devastation of natural disasters, and the next super-typhoon could make landfall at any time.

After losing their homes and livelihoods, a group of women have stepped up to lead the emergency response.

Dignity kits are one way to meet women’s specific needs after a disaster, it lets them take care of their health and frees them up to focus on rebuilding their homes and livelihoods after disaster strikes.

Each dignity kit contains:

• underwear
• sanitary items
• a toothbrush and toothpaste
• shampoo and a hair brush
• hand sanitiser
• face masks.
