Thanks to your support, women leaders in Fiji were able to activate the Women’s Weather Watch network, giving more people with disabilities time to evacuate to safety before Cyclone Yasa.
The Women’s Weather Watch network began in 2004, and connects women around Fiji via SMS and community radio, providing real-time updates on approaching natural disasters.
Women’s Weather Watch champions women’s leadership in all aspects of emergency response and provides an avenue for women to develop leadership and disaster management skills.
Your regular donation can support ongoing programs like the Women’s Weather Watch, and empower more women across the world to lead in times of disaster.
Can you spare just $4 a week so this important work can continue?
