Chip in to power our climate justice campaigns
The UN climate talks are in full swing and the UN chief has issued a grave warning: we could hit the “point of no return” on catastrophic climate change if we don’t act now.
Bushfires rage across Australia. An estimated 60 million people in southern and eastern Africa are facing a food crisis caused by drought. Our Pacific neighbours are at serious risk of their homes being swallowed by rapidly rising sea levels.
And research shows women are the hardest hit.
Yet a damning new report to be released by ActionAid Australia next week reveals that Australian companies have made little to no progress over the last year on reducing its global fossil fuel footprint. They show no signs of slowing down.
Off the back of this research we need your help to make 2020 the year we scale up our work to match the challenge of the climate crisis. With your support we can support more women to push back against mining companies and respond quickly when climate disasters strike.
