This World Humanitarian Day we are celebrating the work of women around the world who are on the frontlines of the COVD-19 crisis.

In Haiti, ActionAid’s women-led response is supporting women who are being pushed further into poverty and face rising levels of violence and discrimination.

ActionAid is working with women’s organisations and community leaders to distribute basic essentials like water and soap and share lifesaving health information to keep their communities safe from COVID-19.

They are also supporting women with cash transfer, seeds and livestock so they can continue to feed their families through this crisis.
