Devastating flash floods have swept through Bangladesh, killing at least 59 people and leaving over 700,000 families stranded.

The area in Bangladesh is not known for being flood-prone, leaving communities unprepared to react when floods occur.

The damage is significant and the situation remains critical. ActionAid is working to provide relief to displaced families, including food packages, safe drinking water, emergency medical supplies and dignity kits.
