Our campaigning efforts took on some of Australia’s biggest mining giants, exposing their violations of women’s rights and dangerous impact on climate change. This led to nationwide calls for a human rights watchdog to strengthen the accountability of Australian corporations operating overseas. We are proud to now have a network of 17 activist groups around the country. Our programming efforts saw us embark on a new phase of work in Afghanistan to strengthen food security and resilience, whilst tackling widespread economic injustice faced by women.
