Thank You!
Thank you for supporting families whose lives have been turned upside down.
On Sunday 31 August, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck southeast Afghanistan.
More than 2,200 people have lost their lives, and at least 14,400 people have been directly affected in some of the country’s most vulnerable and remote regions.
Women and girls face the greatest risks — many are now living outdoors, exposed to violence and without access to health or hygiene support.
ActionAid Afghanistan is on the ground delivering food, clean water, hygiene kits and shelter, prioritising women-headed households and the most vulnerable. But the scale of the disaster is vast. We urgently need your support to reach more families. Please donate today.

Afghanistan is already enduring one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. This earthquake has left families with nothing.
