Online concert-rally: Rise to the beat of debt justice

Join us in the global online concert-rally ‘Rise to the Beat of Debt Justice’ on Wednesday 14 October, 9pm – 1am AEDT.

The world’s wealthiest countries––including Australia––are failing women in this global emergency brought on by COVID-19.

But this Wednesday, Finance Ministers from the G20 have a crucial opportunity to show leadership for women. The G20 can #CancelTheDebt, free up billions of dollars for low-income countries to respond to COVID-19, and extend women a lifeline in this pandemic.

To show the G20 countries like Australia the movement of people demanding action on debt, together with our allies at Asian Peoples’ Movement on Debt and Development, we’re organising a global online concert rally on the day of the G20 meeting on Wednesday 14 October.

There will be music, poetry, and speeches, and it will be a giant display of people power!
