Virtual Paint Party to #CanceltheDebt

Join us at Melbourne’s Virtual Paint Party to #CanceltheDebt on Monday 7 December, 6:30pm – 7:30pm AEDT.

The world’s wealthiest countries––including Australia––are failing women in this global emergency brought on by COVID-19.

Finance Ministers from the G20 have had a crucial opportunity to show leadership for women. The G20 can #CancelTheDebt, free up billions of dollars for low-income countries to respond to COVID-19, and extend women a lifeline in this pandemic.

To show the G20 countries like Australia the movement of people demanding action on debt, our Melbourne Activist group have organised a Virtual Paint party on Monday 7 December at 6:30pm AEDT.

For those residing in Melbourne, come meet a group of like minded people, standing in solidarity with women across the globe and fighting for Gender Equality!

We will have a presentation on Debt Cancellation, as well as paint our very own cheques and take a photo action to show Treasurer Frydenberg just how serious we want to #CanceltheDebt.

We will also be drawing 10 people residing in Melbourne from the RSVP list – you will receive a small paint pack to use on the day! Be sure to include your address when you RSVP so we can send it through.
