Through Her Eyes: Feminist Media Club

Date – 10th October

Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm

Where: Community Room 204, 15 Phoenix St (formerly 33 Saxon St), Brunswick

Join us in an engaging discussion to explore how feminist issues are represented across media forms. From stories, poems, TV, music and art, we will explore the intersectional themes of environmentalism, Indigenous justice and human rights.

Participants will be guided to reflect on these themes through both individual reflection and supportive group discussion before discovering how to turn our insights into action with an overview of ActionAid Australia’s campaigns and how to get involved!

Food and beverages will be provided with all attendees invited to join the Melbourne Activist group for lunch afterwards.

Hosted by the Melbourne Activist Network as part of the Feminist Media Club series.
