ActionAid has one active project and two completed projects in Uganda.

Women’s Land Rights in Northern Uganda

To support women to secure full ownership of their land as well as greater protection from policy and law, ActionAid Australia partnered with ActionAid Uganda to support women to increase their awareness and understanding of their rights.

Training Farmers in Northern Uganda

This project builds on the foundations of existing school feeding programs in the district, to develop and enhance agricultural skills and knowledge, as well as life skills of 200 children aged 12-18 years.

Amuru Women’s Protection Centres

This project supported women, and their families and communities, to collectively respond to and prevent gender-based violence, and to secure women’s livelihoods.
