Frocking Hilarious raises more than $13,000 at Sydney Comedy Festival

A huge thank you to ActionAid supporters who turned out in droves for Frocking Hilarious at the Sydney Comedy Festival last night, raising more than $13,000 for ActionAid’s work supporting women on the frontlines of injustice around the world.

The sold-out event featured an all-woman lineup of comedians, hosted by ActionAid Australia Ambassador Claire Hooper. Thank you to Claire Hooper, Celia Pacquola, Jenny Tian, Jackie Loeb, Harriet Kemsley, Danielle Walker, Chris Ryan, Sophie Duker and Geraldine Hickey for sharing your incredible talent and creating a spectacular event.

Frocking Hilarious is ActionAid Australia’s annual comedy gala, which aims to provide a platform for women comedians while also raising money for ActionAid’s work with women around the world. Money raised will support women who are empowering themselves in the face of crises like climate disasters, conflicts and emergencies.

Thank you to our sponsors who generously contributed prizes – Busy Bee Blossom, MECCA, QBE, Soul Agenda Yoga, Twig & Vine, Verve Portraits and WerriBerri Cottages.
