It’s Public Services International Day – in Australia we know how vital the public sector has been in tackling Covid-19.
Yet, low-income countries are facing a debt crisis: instead of spending money on life-saving healthcare, they are being forced to pay off crippling debts to international creditors.
But together we can push to #CancelTheDebt! The G20 meeting is only in a few weeks, and if countries, like Australia, push for the cancellation of debt repayments for low-income countries, we can help free up money for life saving healthcare.
