The ActionAid Feminist Forum is an annual event that brings together ActionAid supporters, activists, partners, volunteers and staff to advance gender equality and global justice.

It’s a gathering that allows us to connect as a community, and hear from women on the frontlines of injustice. Together we interrogate the big issues facing women across the world – from the genocide in Gaza to the escalating climate emergency to rising authoritarianism and the alarming global backlash on women’s rights.

By sharing our knowledge and ideas, the ActionAid Feminist Forum is a space to explore how we can act together to change the course of this trajectory and mobilise for women’s rights in a rapidly changing world.

The next ActionAid Feminist Forum will be held on Saturday 22 August 2026. Register today via this link.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FORUM?

Eimear Cunningham was one of the ActionAid Australia activists who came along to the ActionAid Feminist Forum in 2025. She shares her reflections on the power of coming together to drive change for women around the world.

WHO WILL YOU HEAR FROM?

Each year, ActionAid Australia brings together an incredible lineup of feminist changemakers from around Australia and the world. In previous years, we’ve had speakers join us from countries such as Vanuatu, Uganda, Nepal and Kenya.
