Scientists declare "climate emergency”

Donate Now!

So far, we’ve failed to address this crisis, but it’s not too late. Will you donate to help us fight the devastating impacts of climate change?

11,000 scientists have issued a warning of “catastrophic threats” and “untold suffering to the world’s people” if we don’t act to curb the climate crisis now.

ActionAid is working on the ground in the most affected communities. In Southern Africa, temperatures are rising at twice the global average. In countries like Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi, extreme weather in the form of ongoing drought, cyclones and flooding has left 45 million people across southern Africa experiencing severe food shortages. Women and girls are the worst affected.

Will you make an urgent donation and stand with women facing the devastating impacts of climate change like drought, famine and floods?
