Perth Film Screening: What’s the Real Cost of Free Trade?
Love Activism? Love documentary films? Care about women’s rights? Always wondered what those “free trade deals” governments often mention about really mean?
If this sounds like you, the Perth chapter of ActionAid Australia would be delighted for you to join us for an afternoon of networking and a screening of ‘Squeezed: The Cost of Free Trade in the Asia-Pacific.’ This film, made by Global Trade Watch, shows a unique perspective on an issue which is becoming increasingly relevant in Australia and our region. Come along to hear how it’s linked to the fight for women’s rights and what you can do about it!
This is a great opportunity for those who are passionate about standing in solidarity with women around the world fighting for justice and equality to learn what the ActionAid Perth group does in the community.
