ActionAid Australia is looking for someone with attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude to join our fundraising team!

  • Part-time position – 3 days a week
  • Salary: $72,000+ (pro rata) plus superannuation, FBT, salary packaging and flexible working

ActionAid Australia (AAA) is a global women’s rights organisation that empowers women on the frontlines of injustice to mobilise and transform their communities.

ActionAid works in more than 70 countries. ActionAid Australia’s Sydney offices are based in Pitt St, CBD, a short walk from Martin Place.

The role

The Supporter Relations Co-ordinator is a key role in the Fundraising Team to deliver best practice supporter care.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage all supporter enquiries via phone, email, and mail, ensuring top-tier customer service.
  • Process and receipt donations, maintaining both electronic and hard copy donor records.
  • Assist with the maintenance of donor files, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Handle daily bank deposits and mail dispatch, ensuring punctuality and consistency.
  • Support the Office Manager with reception duties, including taking and redirecting phone calls as needed.

As the ideal candidate for the role, you have

  • A commitment to ActionAid’s mission and values, including advancing women’s rights.
  • At least 3 years’ experience using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong people skills, a great phone manner, and the ability to build rapport with supporters.
