His administration’s recent cuts to UNRWA—a lifeline for millions and central to Gaza’s humanitarian response—have also worsened the crisis, making his latest remarks even more dangerous.
The international community must categorically reject these plans and ensure all states uphold international law and the rights and dignity of all Palestinians. With humanitarian supplies finally reaching those in urgent need, world leaders must push for a permanent political solution that places the future of Gaza firmly in Palestinian hands.
