Women on the Frontlines of the COVID-19 Refugee Crisis Webinar

06.05.20

As we make progress flattening the curve at home, COVID-19 is beginning to have a greater impact across the world, especially for the world’s most vulnerable people living in refugee camps.

In this webinar Farah Kabir (Country Director, ActionAid Bangladesh), and Caroline McCausland (Director, ActionAid Arab Region) share their insights on the impact of this crisis on Rohingya and Syrian refugees.

Hosted by ActionAid ambassador and journalist, Tracey Spicer, the webinar explores ActionAid’s efforts to support women on the frontlines of this COVID-19 crisis.

Living in densely populated camps with poor access to clean water and sanitation, refugees are highly vulnerable to COVID-19 infection with women overrepresented in these camps.
