Tell Woodside: put the rights of women over profit!

Australia’s largest oil and gas producer Woodside Energy will operate the Sangomar oil field in Senegal – just 100 km away from the coastal communities near Dakar.

The Sangomar project undermines the Paris Agreement, Woodside’s own approach on climate change, and poses a huge threat to women living in poverty in Senegal.

If this project goes ahead, it could have potentially devastating consequences for Senegal’s coastal communities –– especially women, who rely on the fishing industry to feed their families. They already face pressures due to overfishing and climate change, which will only get worse if this project continues.

Sign the petition calling on Woodside to put the rights of women and affected communities over profit, by not proceeding with this disastrous project!
