Every degree deepens inequality.
Every climate action empowers women.

For decades, the fossil fuel industry has exploited women in low-income countries in the Global South. Oil, gas and coal projects are violating the rights of local communities, and causing climate destruction. Women are feeling these impacts the worst.

These same fossil fuel companies are also fuelling the climate crisis. There’s no room for any fossil fuel expansion in a safe climate future – but right now, big polluters are showing no signs of stopping, and governments, development banks and our very own Australian banks are continuing to bankroll them.

Women are at the forefront of the movement for justice, demanding for a just transition and an end to fossil fuels once and for all.

Together, we can stand in solidarity with women on the frontlines of the climate crisis, by opposing new fossil fuel projects, demanding big banks stop funding fossil fuel companies, and shifting finance out of climate destruction to secure a fossil free, feminist future.
